Heat 1 tbsp Ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
To this, add 1/2 cup rolled//steel cut oats.
Then add 2-3 cups milk and 1-2 tbsp coconut sugar or a few leaves of stevia.
Simmer the kheer for 2-3 mins till oats soften.
Top it off with some chopped dry fruits (almonds, walnuts), raisins, a few saffron strands, adding 1/4 tsp cardamom powder.
Simmer or down for a few seconds before turning off the flame.
Serve warm or cold.
(Kheer will thicken when it turns cool so do not over-simmer.)
