Dal Stew
- In a pot or pressure cooker, heat 1 tbsp of ghee and add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds. Let the seeds sizzle.
- Next, add 1/2 tsp ginger and sauté.
- Add 1 cup washed and soaked dal to the pressure cooker. Cook for 3-4 mins.
- Add 3/4 cup chopped veggies (bottle gourd, carrots, pumpkin, spinach) and salt to taste and 1/2 tsp turmeric.
- Pour water and cook on a medium flame till 1-2 whistles.
- When the pressure releases, garnish with 1/2 tsp Kasturi methi and 1 pinch of pepper powder. Serve Warm.
